My current hourly rate is $425. Rate increases may occur not more than once per year. Rate increases are effective for all work performed after the date of increase. Time is billed in increments of a tenth of an hour. Time is generally rounded up to the nearest tenth. Time spent on a project is deemed billable when it occurs at the specific direction of the client or furthers the goals of the engagement. Clerical time spent on document facilitation (proofing, formatting, printing) and mailing is not billed. Travel time is billed when it is necessary or appropriate for furtherance of the goals of the engagement, rather than my convenience. My assistant, Alexis Weyers, is a licensed attorney, and to the extent practicable, I assign tasks to her to work under my supervision. Alexis' hourly rate is $150. In my discretion, I grant courtesy discounts to insure that clients receive good value for fees paid. I routinely reduce the time billed to a client to eliminate perceived inefficiency in the work process.
